REVIEW *SPOILER ALERT*

Okay so yesterday I started this book, Doctor Who Shroud of Sorrow, and finished it in less then 24 hours. It’s a quick read, or maybe it’s just that good it’s hard to put down.

If I had to put this book in one word it would be: WHOUFFLE.

Seriously their bickering at each other in this book is hilarious and adorable. Not to mention in the first 20 pages Clara is changing her clothes out in the open and the Doctor quickly turns away.

Anyways, the whole Shroud, which is the enemy in this book, are pretty fucking creepy. I thought of a million and one things that could happen to myself if the damn thing was real. Faces popping out of liquid. It’s raining right now even so, not looking out the window.

The clowns. What the world?

At first I was a bit why clowns. But then it makes sense since clowns are supposed to bring about joy and the Shroud feed on sorrow.

Me?
I’m terrified of clowns so yeah.

Anyways, the author is great and this book could be seen as an episode as you read along.

The Doctor and Clara were written very in character. Again, Whouffle.

Funny that it’s all on 23 November 1963?

I thought so. But it makes sense since its wrapped around the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

Anyways, I recommend this book for those of you who like to read Doctor Who books!
